History and Evolution of the Company
GAS Global was initially founded as G.A.S. Unlimited, Inc., in 1970, by Leo and Karen Glass in Houston, Texas, amidst the backdrop of a rapidly expanding energy market driven by political and economic changes such as the Arab Oil Embargo of 1973. Recognizing the growing demand for quality manpower solutions in the energy industry, the Glass family established GAS to provide superior recruitment services to meet the needs of this burgeoning sector.
Initially focused on offering job opportunities and recruitment services in Houston's energy market, GAS quickly expanded its operations to cater to the global energy industry. Over the years, the company evolved its services beyond mere recruitment, developing key partnerships and long-standing relationships with leading energy companies worldwide.
Today, GAS Global boasts a presence in multiple countries, with headquarters located in Sugar Land, Texas, and still family-owned and operated by David M. Glass. Despite its significant growth and expansion, the company remains true to its founding ideals of being dedicated to manpower and committed to people.
