Taylor Walters
Major Account Representative
Having graduated from the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, TX, where I specialized in Dance and Dance Education, my journey has been a blend of creativity and dedication. Complementing my artistic pursuits, I hold certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid, a testament to my commitment to ensuring safety, especially in my work with children.
My professional path began at GAS Global, where I embarked as a Contractor Liaison. In this role, I collaborated closely with HR and payroll departments, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our internal operations. Managing daily customer service tasks, along with administering employee benefits, provided me with invaluable insights into the needs of our contractors. This experience underscored the pivotal role contractors play within GAS, a message I consistently convey to our clients. Progressing within the company, I assumed the role of Program Manager, honing my skills in client interactions.
As a Major Account Representative, I focus on driving business development by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. This involves identifying opportunities for growth while ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our client base. Serving as a liaison for client accounts, I maintain open lines of communication and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements, thus contributing to the overarching goals of GAS Global.
I am excited to share that after I recently transitioned into this new sales role, I have already secured my first contract, as testament to the support of our outstanding team.
My strengths lie in my creative approach, effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork ethos, and adaptability.
Looking ahead in my professional journey, I envision continuous growth through ongoing skill development, assuming progressively challenging roles and fostering meaningful connections through networking and collaboration. I prioritize qualities like adaptability and resilience, recognizing them as crucial assets in navigating the dynamic landscape of the business world. Learning from both mentors and peers will be integral for my advancement, as I cultivate a robust brand and uphold a steadfast commitment to lifelong learning.
Beyond the confines of my professional life, I find joy in various interests and activities. When the sun is shining, I relish staying active outdoors, whether it’s hiking through scenic trails or soaking up the sun in a nearby park. During sweltering days, I often unwind with a refreshing drink at one of my favorite local bars.
At home, my downtime is spent in the company of my beloved pets, indulging in leisurely sessions of video games and binge-watching TV series. My furry companion, my 70lb, 9-year-old English Bulldog named Elwood and my newest addition, Catalina, a 6.5 ft. Carpet Python, bring endless delight to my life. Utilizing my passion for animals, I frequently engage in house sitting and caring for a myriad of pets, ranging from parrots and chinchillas to rabbits, chickens and even a goat!

Contractor Liaison
As a graduate in Computer Technology with a side of Advertising, my journey in the professional realm has been a blend of diverse experiences and skill sets. From my roots in the Business Process Outsourcing sector to my current role as a Contractor Liaison at GAS Global, each step has contributed to my growth and adaptability in the ever-evolving landscape of the corporate world.
In my current position, I serve as the bridge between contractors and our organization, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution. From addressing inquiries to facilitating documentation changes and benefits enrollment, my role demands both versatility and promptness. Additionally, acting as a liaison between internal departments underscores the importance of collaboration in achieving our collective goals.
Transitioning to GAS Global presented me with the challenge of managing multiple contractor accounts, a testament to my ability to handle increased responsibilities. I take pride in fostering engagement with contractors through proactive communication and swift issue resolution. Moreover, my proactive approach extends beyond my designated role, as I actively contribute ideas and insights to drive project success.
Drawing from my background in marketing, e-commerce, and project management, I bring a diverse skill set to my role. Effective communication, problem-solving, and adaptability are among my core competencies, complemented by technical skills such as reporting and data analysis. Furthermore, my experience in customer service has honed my empathy, a vital leadership quality in fostering positive relationships.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find fulfillment in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. As a devoted mother, I prioritize self-care and quality time with my family, whether through outdoor adventures or cozy evenings at home. Embracing creativity through art and culinary endeavors allows me to unwind and express myself outside the office environment.

While I may have a penchant for horror movies and dark docuseries, rest assured, I'm not a psychopath—just someone with a curious mind. In my downtime, I find solace in experimenting with new recipes and indulging in creative pursuits, reflecting my innate passion for art and innovation.
